Townechurch Ministries

At Townechurch we are proud of our long history of compassionate care for the Albany community.  Although we are no longer the large downtown congregation of our past, we remain committed to providing caring service to our town.

A few examples:

Our Resale Shop on State Street has for years provided low-cost good clothing for our town.  All the profit from the shop is used for missionary and other needs in the community.  The Resale Shop is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Project Friend is our food pantry ministry helping those in our community who are finding it difficult to make ends meet.  Food distribution is on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m.  Our pantry is located in the basement of the main church building.

Our Preschool provides a quality program for Wee Ones (ages 3-4) and Preschool aged children (ages 4-5).  Enrollment information is available in the church office or by clicking on the pre-school link above.

We continue to seek ways to help the community to experience a connection to God, to other people in the community, and to people around the world.
